Domestic MBA Requirements
MBA Application Requirements - Domestic (PDF)MBA prospective students must submit all materials no later than August 1st. However, you are strongly encouraged to submit your application materials well before that deadline! Once we receive your completed application and materials you can expect a prompt admission decision. Students begin their program either during the initial Short Intensive Summer Session, or during the regular academic fall quarter. For this reason, admission/acceptance to the MBA program is restricted to Fall quarter. (Summer Session course participants apply for Fall quarter admission)
International MBA Requirements
MBA Application Requirements - International (PDF)International students, applying to the MBA program, must submit all materials so they are received no later than March1st in order to be considered for the Fall quarter enrollment of the same year. This deadline is not an application deadline, it is a portfolio completion deadline; meaning that all required supporting documents must be received by that date. Applications should be submitted as soon as possible to start the application process. Be advised, in the event there is a conflict between an international completion deadline and a program deadline, the earlier date will apply.
International students who have already been admitted to a graduate program at Cal Poly, and who wish to add the Cal Poly MBA program to their academic goals, should contact the Orfalea College of Business Graduate Programs Office to determine applicable deadlines for adding the MBA program.
